All For Him/Her All Holiday Crochet
All For Him/Her All Holiday Crochet
Yep, holidays are over so I finally worked up something for ME and pink is essential! I’m gifting this one to myself as a Valentines Day gift? One cake of yarn, one crochet hook, one kick-ass TV show to binge watch… and done! There is one month before Valentines Day so plenty of time to work one up for you or someone special to gift it to.
Enjoy!
Check out this quick 4 row pattern repeat, perfect for auto-pilot crocheting. Take a look at the info below and work one up for yourself! Enjoy!
This pattern uses a crochet thread and is worked up from the centre/inside of the wrap. The good news is that the gauge doesn’t really matter here. Each row you add will increase the length and shape the “v” of the pattern. You will continue to work the pattern repeat until you reach the desired length.
ch = chain;
dc = double crochet;
slst = slip stitch;
sk = skip;
st(s) = stitch(es);
* = repeat whatever follows the * as indicated.
Ch4, Slst to first ch.
Row 1: Ch3, turn. 3 Dc, ch3, 3 Dc into the circle made by the starting chain.
Row 2-3: Ch3, turn, 3 dc into first stitch, dc in each st until you reach the ch3 space, (dc, ch3, dc in ch3 space), dc in each stitch remaining except the last stitch. 3 dc in the last stitch.
Row 4: Ch3, turn, 3 dc into first stitch, *dc, ch1, sk1* repeat within ** until you reach the ch3 space, (dc, ch3, dc in ch2 space), *dc, ch1, sk1* repeat within ** in each stitch remaining except the last stitch. 3 dc in the last stitch.
Repeat rows 2-4 until you reach your desired length. Then repeat rows 2&3 – you should end with a solid dc row.
Create Tassels:
Yarnspirations has a great article on how to make your own tassels right here.
Attach Tassels to the ends of the wrap.
Enjoy!
