Pattern Notes:
To modify the pattern, cast on a multiple of 4 stitches plus 1. You can also add to the length to make it longer, as noted throughout the pattern.

- 6 balls of Red Heart Soft Baby Steps
- US size 8 / 5.0mm knitting needles
Gauge:
17-12 stitches, 23-15 rows to 4″
Abbreviations:
St: Stitch
K: Knit
P: Purl
P2Tog: Purl 2 together
Pattern:
Cast on 155 stitches.
Begin bottom border: knit every row until work measures 1.5in.
Begin Bubble pattern:
Row 1: Knit across
Row 2: K7, purl to last 7 sts, k7
Rep Row 1 &2 2 more times.
Row 7: k7, *with yarn in back, drop the next st down 6 rows, knit all 7 rows above by placing the right needle in the st 7 rows below [watch the video for this], k3* repeat to last 7 sts, k7
Row 8: K7, purl to last 7 sts, k7
Row 9: Knit across
Rep Row 8 & 9 2 more times.
Row 13: K7, purl to last 7 sts, k7
Row 14: k7, *k3, with yarn in back, drop the next st down 6 rows, knit all 7 rows above by placing the right needle in the st 7 rows below [watch the video for this]* repeat to last 7 sts, k7
Repeat rows 1-14 until the length measures 33in.
Begin top border: knit every row until work measures 1.5in.
