Hey Friends, my wreath obsession continues! This time I really wanted to create the focal point – the Bow – as a crochet pattern. Turns out, it is a lot easier than I imagined it would be. Pattern Notes:

This pattern uses the crochet Seed Stitch. You can change the gauge of this ribbon by using a any yarn (you will need to follow the recommended hook size and measurements on yarn package).You can increase the size of this blanket by increasing in multiples of 2 stitches.

Materials:

Gauge:

  • 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) 16 sc x 19 rows with 4 mm crochet hook

Finished measurements:

  • Approx. 4×50 in

Abbreviations:

SC = Single crochet

DC = Double crochet

CH = Chain

Pattern:

With contrast colour, to start, ch 19

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, *dc, sc. Repeat from * to end. Ch 1, turn (18)

Row 2: *Dc (in prior row sc), sc (in prior row dc)*. Repeat from * to end. Ch 1, turn (18)

The pattern will repeat row 2 until the length measures 50in
