The colour blocks form the bricks and the white offset forms the mortar in this Knit Brick & Mortar Baby Blanket. You can use whatever colours you like to make this blanket. I made this one for a baby shower where we didn’t know the sex so I tried to stay fairly neutral. If you’re making this for a baby boy or girl and ombre set (light blue to dark blue as example) would work really well. You have many options so don’t stick to my colour choices!
- MAIN Colour (MC): 1 ball of baby yarn in white (this is the border and main colour throughout the blanket)
- CONTRAST Colour (C1-5): 1 ball of each contrast colour – I used 5 different colours all from this RedHeart Baby Line
- Size 6 (4.0mm) circular needle (or the suggested needle size to match your baby yarn)
