Single Ball Crochet Pumpkin Trio

You change the stitch, you change the look. Check out this one pattern worked up with SC, HDC, and DC. Even though they have the same pattern they take on their own personality with a slight change in the stitch. Each getting a little larger as you move up from SC to HDC and DC. This will make the perfect hostess gift as we head into the fall season and looking forward to Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving is a couple weeks way!!). Try it out and let me know what you think!

bind off and leave a long tail (2ft), attach tapestry needle

Begin shaping pumpkin grooves by pushing the needle up through the middle and around the sides. You will do this 5 times. Pull on the yarn so that it creates a tight synch along the sides –

Tie off the last crease at the bottom of the pumpkin.

Begin working curly vine:

I made 3 sizes as the pumpkins began to get larger.

For the SC (HDC, DC) chain 15 (20, 25)

Row 1: 2 sc in each st across.

Bind off

Assembly:

Attach the curly vine to the centre of the pumpkin. Place cinnamon stick in the middle of the original magic circle (this may take a bit of working in as it will be tighter than the cinnamon stick,

Enjoy!
