I made this one for one of my favourite humans in the world. She loved it so much she immediately moved it to her bedroom and now sleeps with it every night *pats self on back*. Please enjoy it at least as much as she does! 💛

Tips for success

  • Count carefully on the foundation chain. The pattern starts with ch 135 — getting that count right is critical to keeping the chevron pattern aligned.
  • Carry your yarn up the side. Since you’re alternating colors every 2 rows, you can simply carry the unused color up the side of the work rather than cutting it after every color change. Saves time and a lot of weaving in.
  • Adjust the size easily. Each chevron repeat is approximately 14 stitches wide. Add or subtract repeats from your foundation chain to make the throw narrower or wider.
  • Block your finished piece. Bernat Blanket Yarn doesn’t need aggressive blocking, but a gentle steam or wet block evens out the chevron points beautifully.
