I ended up needing to add a final last piece of flare to my current Hanukkah project and this was a perfect fit. Honestly, this works up within minutes and can easily be used to create Star Ornaments or added to projects as an Embellishment. I am showcasing this as an embellishment but I’m sure I’ll get around to making ornaments for our Christmukkah tree (yes we have one of these!) in no time!

Materials:

4.0mm Crochet Hook

1 Ball Bernat Softee Baby in any colour you choose (I’m using Flannel)

Gauge:

4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) 16 sc x 19 rows with 4 mm crochet hook

Abbreviations:

CH: Chain

Slst: Slip Stitch

HDC: Half double crochet

Pattern:

*Make 2 Triangles

Ch 30; join with slip st in first ch to form a large ring.


Round 1:
Ch 1, hdc in same ch, hdc in next 4 ch, [(hdc, dc, Ch 2, slip st in last st, hdc) in next ch, hdc in next 9 chs] twice, (hdc, dc, Ch 2, slip st in last st, hdc) in next ch, hdc in next 4 chs; join with slip st in top of first hdc.

That’s it!

Assembly:

Overlap triangles, weaving to create the 6-Point Star.
