I ended up needing to add a final last piece of flare to my current Hanukkah project and this was a perfect fit. Honestly, this works up within minutes and can easily be used to create Star Ornaments or added to projects as an Embellishment. I am showcasing this as an embellishment but I’m sure I’ll get around to making ornaments for our Christmukkah tree (yes we have one of these!) in no time!

Check out the pattern below and let me know how you might introduce this pattern in your holiday projects this year!

Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

4.0mm Crochet Hook

1 Ball Bernat Softee Baby in any colour you choose (I’m using Flannel)

4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) 16 sc x 19 rows with 4 mm crochet hook

CH: Chain

Slst: Slip Stitch

HDC: Half double crochet

*Make 2 Triangles

Ch 30; join with slip st in first ch to form a large ring.

Round 1:
Ch 1, hdc in same ch, hdc in next 4 ch, [(hdc, dc, Ch 2, slip st in last st, hdc) in next ch, hdc in next 9 chs] twice, (hdc, dc, Ch 2, slip st in last st, hdc) in next ch, hdc in next 4 chs; join with slip st in top of first hdc.

That’s it!

Overlap triangles, weaving to create the 6-Point Star.
