Garland assembly

Make a combination of 6–8 trees and stars depending on your desired garland length. With twine, weave through the top of each tree and the corner of each star, leaving approximately 6 inches of slack between ornaments. Mix colours for a classic look or go all white for a modern, minimal style.

Frequently asked questions

How long does each ornament take to make?

Each ornament works up in about 20–30 minutes once you’re familiar with the pattern. Make a batch while watching a Christmas movie and you’ll have a full garland done in an evening.

Can I use a different yarn?

Yes β€” any #3 light weight cotton works beautifully. Cotton gives the ornaments a crisp, structured finish that holds its shape well. Avoid fuzzy or stretchy yarns for this one.

Can I make these larger?

Absolutely β€” just use a heavier yarn and a larger hook. The finished size scales with your yarn weight, so a worsted weight yarn will give you a much chunkier ornament.

Can I sell items made from this pattern?

Yes! You’re welcome to sell finished ornaments and garlands made from this pattern. Please credit SeeLoveShare as the designer. The pattern itself may not be reproduced or resold.
