This pattern covers the Bumble Bee costume. Other than the lil Antennae, the colour combo carries its own personality the rest of the way!

Yarn: Black, Bright Yellow

Pumpkin base modification: Begin with yellow and work 2 rows then swap to black. Change between the two colours every 2 rows ending with yellow at row 18. Work remaining rows with black.. Please make pumpkin base and stump!

Accessories: Antennae (make 2)

With yellow, ch 3, join with a slst to first ch to make a loop.

Rnd 1: Chain 1, 6 sc within loop. Continue working in rounds.

Rnd 2: 2 SC in each st around (12 SC)

Rnd 3: 2 SC in each stitch around (12 SC)

Rnd 4: SC2tog over the next two sc, repeat around (6 SC)

Rnd 5: Sc in each st around (6 SC)

At this point you want to stuff the “ball” with poly-fil. Change to blackRnd 6-12: SC in each stitch around (6 SC)

Attach the googly eyes with the glue gun first. Sew antennae evenly spaced in line with the eyes and on either side of the pumpkin stump.
