Welcome to the individual patterns for each of the Lil Monsters! This pattern covers the 6th pattern in the series – the Lil Skull! Enjoy!

Here is the entire Lil Monster Pumpkin Patch!

Pattern Notes:

This pattern is written for BOTH knit and crochet! Photos were taken for one or the other but the modifications for each will be included in each costume pattern. 

First, let’s gather all the materials you’re going to need!

If you’re in the US, head to Joann! You’ll find everything you need there.

Materials:

• Crochet Hook: 6.0mm
• Knitting Needles: 6.00mm
• Tapestry needle
• Polyfill stuffing

• Floral Wire
• Googly Eyes (7 sets) – AKA Wobbly Eyes in 25mm

• Red Heart Super Saver in the following colours:
  • Pumpkin
  • Aran
  • Black
  • Spring Green
  • Cherry Red
  • Amethyst
  • Coffee

Gauge: 

Crochet: 12SC and 14 rows = 4in 

Knit: 17sts and 23 rows = 4in

Abbreviations: 

Crochet: 

SC: Single crochet

DC: Double crochet

Ch: Chain

Sts : Stitches

Slst : Slip Stitch

Rnd: Round

Knit: 

K: knit

K2tog : knit 2 together

COSTUMES:

This pattern covers the Skull costume and the trick to this one is that, other than the pumpkin base, there is only embroidery!

Pattern:

Yarn: Aran

Pumpkin base modification: None. Please make pumpkin base and stump!

Accessories:

Face Embroidery: Black yarn and tapestry needle.

Assembly: 

Attach one googly eye on either the right or left side (your choice). Embroider the detail according the photo below.
